Hex Terrarium Class

Terrariums are what we love most at Avalon Exotics, and this class lets you build your own from the ground up.

You’ll create a terrarium in a geometric glass container, layering moss, leafy plants, and natural accents like seed pods, twigs, and leaves to build a small forest floor you can keep on a shelf or desk. Our team will guide you through each step, including:

• Layering: How the base layers support healthy plant growth
• Plant placement: Arranging plants and moss so everything has room to grow
• Natural decor: Using wood, pods, and leaf litter for a natural look
• Care at home: Light, watering, and humidity tips to keep your terrarium thriving

It’s a great first build for beginners and a fun evening for anyone who already loves plants. Your finished terrarium also makes a living holiday gift that lasts well beyond the season.

Please note: These terrariums are designed as plant displays, not animal habitats. If you’re planning a home for a frog, gecko, or other animal, ask our team about custom terrariums built around your animal’s needs.
